With 35 locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida The Toasted Yolk is definitely getting their name out there. The hit breakfast spot is owned by Chris Milton and Mathew DeMott with intentions of creating casual dining focused on breakfast but adding a unique twist to each meal. Their first location in 2010 was built in Conroe Texas, about an hour outside of Houston, Texas. This restaurant quickly gained popularity which led to its rapid expansion.
Only a ten minute drive from Baylor University, this breakfast joint has taken Sunday brunch to a whole new level. Students often go to The Toasted Yolk after church, sporting events, and hangouts. Not only do they serve breakfast, but brunch is pretty popular there as well. With the wide variety of food on their menu every guest is definitely getting something they will enjoy. From fried eggs and bacon to salmon and garden salad their menu has everything you can imagine. Pricing varies among the whole menu but is definitely on the cheaper side. Appetizers run from $7.00 to $10.00 on average, while main courses are $14.00 to $18.00. A popular meal that the restaurant is famous for is the “Toasted Yolk” dish. This dish includes perfectly cooked eggs to your liking and a fresh twist of add-ons that you get to choose.
